Spending time together is an important aspect of life at NBMC. We come together as a church family for service, fun, and fellowship. Events include church work days at the NBMC building and Reservoir Hill House of Peace, hikes, picnics, special celebrations, youth-hosted fundraisers, and more.

There are also several annual events:

Church Retreat: Every September, our church community gathers at Camp Hebron in Halifax, PA for a weekend of fellowship and spiritual nourishment. Each retreat includes a guest speaker, activities for children and youth, and childcare. Our 2022 retreat will be September 23-25.

Women’s Retreat: All women are welcome for this weekend of fellowship, worship, and much needed relaxation at Charter Hall, MD. This retreat is normally scheduled in April of each year.

Easter Breakfast: Every Easter Sunday, our church community meets together and celebrates Jesus’ resurrection with a breakfast meal, followed by an Easter Egg Hunt for the children and our Worship Service at 10:30am. In 2022, Easter Sunday is April 17.

NBMC Christmas Celebration: Each year in early December, the children put on a Christmas program.

Christmas Eve: Every year on Christmas Eve, at 7:00 p.m. NBMC has a Service of Lessons and Carols in which we celebrate Jesus’ birth. For a recording of our 2021 service, click here.
